Guidelines for Submission:

​

The Scroll encourages submissions from a variety of fields as long as the papers contain a historical argument and thorough engagement with primary sources and secondary scholarship. Those submissions that display original research seeking to add to the existing scholarly debate on the topic are especially welcome. 

 

The paper must be a minimum of 10 pages or a maximum of 35. It must also include a completed bibliography and abstract upon submission. The preferred formatting for submissions is as follows: double-spaced and footnotes follow Chicago citation style. Please remove all identifying information from the document before submitting.

The paper cannot be previously published. All selected authors must commit to the following editorial review process in order to prepare their papers for publication.
