The Scroll is the undergraduate, peer-reviewed, historical journal of the University of Southern California’s Phi Alpha Theta chapter and Van Hunnick History Department established in 2019. The journal seeks to promote student authorship of and engagement with interdisciplinary historical writing. Our mission is to provide students at USC and beyond with a platform to showcase their exceptional scholarship. We encourage submissions about anthropology, archaeology, art history, cultural studies, and history that show dedicated attention towards the selected primary sources and secondary scholarship.
